Edward Balassanian

CEO

Edward Balassanian is a technologist, inventor, and serial entrepreneur with more than three decades of experience building technology companies. A University of Washington Computer Science graduate with honors at age 19, his work has ranged from early distributed operating systems and foundational innovations including pinch, swipe, and zoom to generative AI and maritime intelligence. Through Endanik, Edward has built companies including Strings, Implicit Media, Aimi, and Haven, while developing a prolific intellectual property portfolio of more than 100 patents. He has raised capital, personally hired hundreds of employees, managed global teams, and overseen virtually every aspect of company building, from hardware and software development through sales, marketing, financing, legal, and corporate transactions. As CEO of Implicit, he brings that experience to giving every screen a story.
